Mission Statement:

Young Israel of San Diego is a Modern Orthodox congregation, founded in 1989, that adheres to authentic Torah observance to support the spiritual needs and growth of the San Diego Jewish community.

 

Vision Statement:

To continue being a warm and welcoming congregation that nurtures the religious, educational and social growth of all our members through the guidance of halacha.

 

To erect an eruv and purchase a permanent building and offer programming which meet the needs of our growing membership.

 

To continue creating a solid infrastructure that engages the youth and families in our community to practice vibrant, relevant and spiritual Judaism.
