I am truly humbled and deeply grateful to be honored this
evening with the Aishes Chayil award.

When I think back to the first Shabbos that I spent in West
Hempstead as a teenager on a shabbaton, I never could have
imagined that a single visit would one day lead me to build my
home here, and certainly not that I would have the privilege of
being honored by this very shul.

West Hempstead welcomed me so warmly from the very beginning and
has given me friendship, support, and a true sense of belonging.

Any contributions I've made are simply a reflection of how much
this community has given to me.

Honorees

Thank you, Rabbi Goller, for your guidance, for always being

there for all of us, and for continuing the legacy of Rabbi
Kelemer zt"l, ensuring that YIWH remains the special shul that it is.

During my time as treasurer, I had the privilege of working with
Shulamith Hurwitz, Judy Feldman, Garri Ann Harris, and Tova Isseroff.

The role of Sisterhood president is truly a 24/7 commitment, and
I've learned so much from your dedication.

To our current presidents, Eli Hausner and Daniella Rosenberg,
thank you for everything you do for the Sisterhood and our
shul-and for this honor.

And thank you, Michal Lipschitz, for taking over the role of treasurer.

Shulamith, who would have thought that from taking the bus to YCQ together, we would one day both be building our lives here in West Hempstead? I've especially loved co-chairing the Yad Leah clothing drive with you these past four years.

nearly 19 years, my family has been part of your minyan.

We've built lasting friendships and experienced the warmth

that span decades and those formed more recently here in

West Hempstead. Especially over the last four years, your

and for following me to West Hempstead. My children are so fortunate to

It means so much to me that my children were able to grow up with

cousins nearby, just as I did.

To my amazing boys, Yehuda, Ezra, and Aryeh, it is the greatest joy to be

your mother. I am so proud of you and so grateful to have a front-row

seat to your lives. I hope that I have inspired you

as much as you inspire me.
