Welcome to Dynamite Youth Center’s 55th Anniversary Gala!
 
Another year has come and gone and so it’s time to once again celebrate our Dynamite family and its accomplishments.   As Chairperson of the Dynamite Board of Directors and on behalf of my fellow board members, I am thrilled to share this special night with you. 
 
April 1st was a wonderful day at Dynamite.  Members of the 85th Wave completed our program. It was an emotional ceremony filled with gratitude and anticipation of all the opportunities that lie ahead.  Our Completions will forge ahead, living on their own and making decisions that will shape their future, knowing full well that if they need a positive boost or a correction in their course, they are always welcome to check in at their Dynamite home. 
 
That same day was Alumni Day and it was a big success with so many past Completions returning to talk about their accomplishments and to share with the newer members how they navigate their lives without drugs, every day.  
 
Our “Spring Fling” in June saw a sell-out crowd! We took in a handsome profit of $10,000.
 
And still to come, the groundbreaking of 1808 Coney Island Ave — our newest residential facility.
 
Through it all, our vision remains the same—- to provide quality care and services that help our members and their families become whole.
 
Of course, none of this happens without the dedication of our well trained staff and the support of our parents. Our members need to know that their friends and family have their backs!
 
To all of you, please accept our heartfelt and sincerest appreciation for all that you do to make Dynamite the success that it is.
 
A Special Congratulations to our Honoree Rob Kent, our friend and supporter of DYC for many years.
And to our Alumni Honorees, we are so very proud of you and all you have accomplished!
