Michael Greene
B'nai Israel
Michael Greene is the food committee chair for the B’nai Israel Men’s Club. He has nurtured his love of cooking and is responsible for making sure we have breakfast, lunch, dinner or dessert, whichever we decide, at our various programs throughout the year  and for our Kiddush at Men’s Club Shabbat.

He is a regular at our daily minyanim, because, as he explained when he was given the honor of Katan Torah on Simchat Torah, “helping to assure those who need to say Mourners Kaddish a minyan is important to me.” He also blows the shofar.

Michael grew up in Greensboro, North Carolina, where he spent his Saturday mornings in synagogue and his summers at Jewish camps, most notably Camp Ramah in the Berkshires.

He is owner and property manager of Crossroads Plaza in Cary, N.C. His wife Lisa is director of business development at TriBridge Partners in Bethesda, Md., and their son Sam is working on a master’s degree in global strategic communications at Loyola University in Chicago.
