Morah Lisi (Lasko) Wolfson (Class of 1994) has been a devoted and passionate kindergarten teacher at the Hebrew Academy for the last twenty years. Lisi was born in Baltimore and moved to Miami when she was 5 years old. Lisi's educational journey began at the Hebrew Academy, where she spent her formative years from kindergarten all the way through 12th grade. Deeply impacted by her experiences at the school, Lisi emerged as a proud alumna, cherishing the values and education she received. Lisi attended Midreshet Moriah in Israel, Stern College for Women as an undergraduate and Adelphi University for her Masters degree in Education. Driven by her love for learning and teaching and a desire to give back to her alma mater, Morah Lisi returned to the Hebrew Academy, where she has dedicated the last 20 years of her life shaping the minds of young learners. Her commitment to nurturing the next generation has made her a beloved figure within the school community.  Morah Lisi has taught General Studies as well as Judaic Studies at the Hebrew Academy. Morah Lisi has been leading the Limudei Kodesh classroom for the last 13 years. She loves bringing the weekly Parsha and Chagim, Jewish holidays to life for her students. She loves watching her students master the alefbet and begin to read Ivrit in kindergarten. The foundational skills that her students develop in her classroom serve them throughout their life as torah Jews. Morah Lisi’s classroom is a fun, hands-on environment where the students are always engaged in meaningful and creative learning. Morah Lisi’s goal is to develop a love for Hashem and learning in her students that will last a lifetime.

Outside the classroom, Lisi Wolfson's life is busy and beautifully enriched by her amazing family. She is happily married to Dr. Daniel Wolfson.
