From this very first day Heichal HaTorah's closed due to Corona every single shiur and class was in session. It is our honor to congratulate our yeshiva on not missing a beat. The learning of our high school and post-high school students both in shiur and with chavrusahs (student-to-student learning), has been strong, some would say stronger than in person. Our faculty is employing progressive strategies to keep distance learning exciting and informative. Yasher Koach (continued strength) to Rabbi Avishur, our Academic Dean, who began preparing to launch Virtual Heichal very early on during this pandemic and executed the transition flawlessly. Yasher Koach to our Rabbis and teachers who carried out the plan seamlessly and continue to improve the learning each and every day. It is so difficult to prepare for classes and teach at home, with family around, and they continue to do so with professionalism and true heroism. Critical to our yeshiva culture is the personal attention each talmid (student) receives from our guidance team. Rav Schwechter, Director of Religious Guidance, has continued to work with many talmidim on religious issues that are part of normal teenage life and specifically as a teenager during Corona. Dr. Klein, Director of Guidance, continues to monitor the pre-existing social and educational needs of our talmidim, as well as address new issues that have surfaced during life and yeshiva during Corona. Their dedication to the needs of each talmid has been truly heroic during this time. Rabbi Epsein and Shimmie Katz, Directors of Student Life, recognized the incredible challenge our talmidim would face being away from friends and cooped up in their homes. He has planned and executed numerous fun and social activities for our talmidim to enjoy at home. These heroic efforts of RavAv and Shimmie are truly appreciated.

“Rabbi Yochanan said: The hearts of the early Sages were expanded like the doorway to the Entrance Hall of the Beis HaMikdash, and the hearts of the later Sages were like the entrance to the Sanctuary (the Heichal)” Eruvin 53a
As our son Avraham graduates Heichal HaTorah we would like to express our gratitude to Rabbi Stechler, Rabbi Avishur, and the rebbeim and teachers who supported our son in “expanding his heart like the entrance of the Heichal” with Torah learning, intellectual development, and personal growth.
We know that even after he leaves the walls of Heichal HaTorah and does not pass through the entrance of Heichal each day, the learning and lessons he has internalized will remain.
May Hashem continue to give Heichal's administrators, rebbeim and teachers, the wisdom and strength to teach and inspire the hearts of many Talmidim for years to come.
Mazel tov to Rabbi and Mrs. Genack, the Rozehzadeh family, Binny Senter, and all the rebbeim and faculty. We are honored to be recognized among you.
With much הכרת הטוב,
Aliza and Jonathan Frohlich and Avraham
Each family - the Genacks, the Frohlichs, the Rozehzadehs and the Senters - in their own way has made involvement in tzorchei tzibbur a paramount priority in their personal lives and have each been magnificent shluchei d'Rachama
In gratitude to the care and devotion of all of Heichal HaTorah's excellent faculty and administration -- starting from Rabbi Stechler and Rabbi Avishur and all of Yaakov's rebbeim and teachers -- who have carried out a terrific challenge with enviable aplomb, energy and dedication
In honor of the great boys of Heichal who have been models of character and perseverance through this crisis, and their parents, who have been the models for the models,
Thank you and Mazel Tov!
Thank you to the administration, Rabbeim and teachers for your sincere dedication to the talmidim, particularly during these last few difficult months.
Best wishes of continued Hatzlacha to the Yeshiva,
Romy & Avrami Tabacznik
