Henny Bochner, an esteemed educator, currently serves as the Director of Educational Advancement at the Rae Kushner Yeshiva High School. With over a decade of experience at the institution, she has demonstrated her dedication to nurturing students' intellectual growth and fostering a deep connection to their heritage.
 
Henny's expertise spans various disciplines, including Jewish History, Psychology, and Biology, which she has passionately taught throughout her tenure. Her commitment to Israel education stands out prominently in her career. She has meticulously crafted curriculum, ensuring students receive a nuanced understanding of Israel's history and its contemporary significance. In response to the need for accurate information amidst media distortion, Henny initiated an Israel crash course for students, alumni, and the wider school community, providing them with the tools to engage confidently and critically with Israel-related issues.
 
Beyond her role in Israel education, Henny is deeply invested in shaping educational programming that broadens students' horizons and sparks curiosity. She champions a pedagogical philosophy centered on empowering students to find joy in learning, fostering interdisciplinary connections, and guiding them in their personal and spiritual growth.
 
Henny's academic journey reflects her commitment to scholarly inquiry and professional development. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (Neuroscience) from Yeshiva University's Stern College, a Master of Arts in Jewish History from the Bernard Revel Graduate School of Jewish Studies, and is on the verge of completing her doctorate in education and administration at Yeshiva University's Azrieli Graduate School of Jewish Education & Administration. Her doctoral research focuses on Israel Education in Modern Orthodox Yeshiva High Schools, a testament to her dedication to advancing educational discourse within her community.
 
Outside of her professional pursuits, Henny and her husband Elie live in Springfield, where they are raising Dovid (a JKHA 4th grader), Shalom (a JKHA 1st grader), Tamar (JKHA EC-4), and 1-year-old baby Rina, who can’t wait to start JKHA. They are actively involved in their community, embodying their shared values of education, faith, and communal responsibility.
