It gives us great pleasure to extend a heartfelt mazal tov to the honorees at Kohelet Yeshiva’s 24th Annual Gala.
Baruch Hashem, our school has achieved incredible growth over the past several years. As a thriving K-12 institution with state-of-the-art facilities, we are proud to offer an outstanding educational experience in Judaic and General Studies, opportunities that foster religious growth, a hi-tech fabrication laboratory, and an array of programming that includes music, art, and sports. We have much to be thankful for, and it is due to the selfless dedication of our volunteers, supporters, and staff that we are able to celebrate the advancements we have made as a school community.
Our Guests of Honor, The Seligsohn Family and the Legacy of Sherwin I. Seligsohn, z”l, have been instrumental in facilitating the growth and development of Kohelet Yeshiva. Their incredible vision, great generosity, and unending commitment to Jewish life and learning have enabled us to provide a first-rate education for this and future generations, and we owe them a tremendous debt of gratitude for their extraordinary efforts on behalf of our school, our students, and our community. As longtime supporters and partners, we are deeply grateful for all that the Seligsohn family has done, and continues to do, for Kohelet Yeshiva.
The recipient of the Distinguished Faculty Award, Rabbi Jeffrey Weiss, or Rav Yaakov as he is called by his students, has been an integral part of Kohelet Yeshiva since he arrived in 2016. Over the past eight years, Rav Yaakov has helped educate our K/1 students as a Judaic Studies Specialist and Rav, and his passion for teaching and enduring desire to help his students learn and grow have left an indelible mark on hundreds of children who have been fortunate enough to have him as a role model.
Thank you to everyone for your continued support of Kohelet Yeshiva and for being our partners on this exciting and fulfilling journey of educating your children.
