Celebrating Ramah at 75 and Honoring Rabbi Mitch Cohen

Join us to celebrate 75 years of Ramah camping and two decades of Rabbi Mitch Cohen’s leadership. Our event will be a true Ramah simcha with performances, storytelling, tributes, and music.
Business Casual/Shabbat Attire
- Attendees must be fully vaccinated and boosted. Kindly bring proof of vaccination with you to the event.
- Attendees should take two COVID tests prior to the event, a PCR (ideally) or rapid test on Thursday, March 3 or Friday, March 4, as well as a rapid test on the day of the event. If you are unable to obtain a test that day, we will have a limited number of rapid tests available at the venue entrance. Please arrive no later than 6 pm if you need to test onsite.
- We ask that attendees be appropriately masked at all times except during food service.
Please RSVP no later than February 21. Journal ads received after this date may appear in the virtual journal after the event.
Funds raised will support the Lev Ramah, Heart of Ramah Campaign, two initiatives spearheaded by Mitch during his tenure:

Affordability Initiative, providing scholarship assistance to campers whose families are experiencing extreme financial difficulty

Leadership Initiative, expanding Ramah’s high-impact leadership development programs, engaging thousands of older teen and young adult Ramah staff members
All gifts to the National Ramah Commission are tax deductible as allowed by law.
*Given our concerns about the safety and health of our Ramah family, we have modified the format of our event. Our event will no longer include dinner, so as to minimize the amount of time that people will be without masks. Our 7 pm celebratory program will be followed by a festive dairy dessert reception.
