The Jewish Educational Center is privileged to honor Rabbi Eliezer & Mrs. Sharon Zwickler as Parents of the Year.  Stalwart supporters of the JEC, Rabbi & Mrs. Zwickler continue to partner with the JEC in the education of their children and all of our students, enhancing our school and community.  They are the incredibly proud parents of their outstanding children, Yitzy - JEC 2017 and his wife Simi, Tziporah - Bruriah 2019, Menachem - JEC 2023,  and Zevi - JEC 2026.  Rabbi & Mrs. Zwickler embody our shared values and have dedicated their lives to supporting others, advancing the cause of Torah and nurturing the next generation.  

 

Rabbi Zwickler has served as Senior Rabbi of Congregation AABJ&D in West Orange since 2004.  Rabbi Zwickler is a musmach of the Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary and holds a BA from Yeshiva College.  He earned a Masters degree in Social Work from the Wurzweiler School of Social and a Masters degree in Secondary Jewish Education from the Azrieli School of Jewish Education, both at Yeshiva University. Rabbi Zwickler is the Vice President of the Vaad Harabonim of Metrowest, and a member of the Board of the Beth Din of America.  Rabbi Zwickler is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Supervisor, and maintains a private psychotherapy practice.

 

Sharon Zwickler is the Intake Director at the Jewish Family Service of Clifton Passaic where she has worked for the last 15 years. Sharon is a graduate of the Sy Syms School of business at Yeshiva University, and holds a Masters Degree in Social Work from the Wurzweiler School of Social Work at YU.  She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Supervisor who maintains a private psychotherapy practice in addition to her work at JFS.
