Daniele ‘92 and Steven Bleier

This year we have the privilege of honoring the exceptional leadership of Daniele and Steven Bleier, whose dedication and passion have made a lasting and meaningful impact on our school. Since moving to Englewood 13 years ago, Daniele and Steven together have dedicated countless hours to Moriah. Steven has served as President of our Board of Trustees, a member of the Finance Committee, and is currently co-Chairman of the Board of Overseers. Steven has been integral to the success of Moriah’s Capital Campaign since the project’s inception.  His vision and steadfast commitment have shaped the Moriah we see today and count on for the future.  Daniele, a lifelong Englewood resident, and proud Moriah alum, is also an active volunteer for Moriah. She generously and wholeheartedly contributes to our community through her leadership in MAP, where she spearheaded the Mishloach Manot program for students, chaired the Bat Mitzvah celebration, and contributed her time and creativity as part of the Summer Outing committee.  Daniele and Steven are the proud parents of Moriah graduates Molly ’23 and Aela ’25, as well as current students Noa (7th grade) and Sam and Zachary (4th grade).  We are privileged to recognize Daniele and Steven as our Guest of Honor at this year’s dinner.

For twenty-four years, Morah Linda has been a beloved and inspiring presence at The Moriah School. With warmth, dedication, and an unwavering commitment to Jewish values, she has guided countless students to love Torah, embrace mitzvot, and find joy in learning. In her classroom, reading, writing, and math come alive through curiosity, confidence, and thoughtful exploration. She believes that every child has a unique spark, and she considers it a privilege to help each student uncover their strengths and grow as learners and as young Jews. A true collaborator, Morah Linda feels blessed to work alongside an exceptional team of teachers and colleagues who share her passion for education and community. Together, they create an environment where students feel supported, challenged, and cherished.

Morah Linda lives in Englewood with her husband, where one of her greatest joys is seeing so many of her current and former students in shul—continuing to thrive, and stay connected to their Jewish learning. Beyond the classroom, she is the proud mother of four Moriah graduates and a very proud grandmother. The Moriah community is honored to celebrate Morah Linda- an educator, mentor, ad role model whose impact continues to shine brightly through the students, families and colleagues who have been fortunate to learn from her.

Yael Krumerman

Yael has spent the past eighteen years at the Moriah School, where she began as the school psychologist for Early Childhood and the Gesher Yehuda program and, in 2010, became the Head of the Guidance Department. Before moving to the United States, she worked in Israel at the Broshim School in Tel Aviv, supporting students with emotional and behavioral challenges. In the U.S., she served at LIJ Hospital–School Mental Health Alliance, where she was part of a multidisciplinary team that developed anti-bullying and resilience programs in the aftermath of September 11th. At Moriah, Yael has been a leading force in promoting a Social Emotional Learning (SEL) philosophy school-wide. She co-authored the “Conversation Program,” which provided teachers with structured time and space for meaningful dialogue with students. She helped bring the Responsive Classroom program to Moriah as an evidence-based teaching approach that combines social and emotional learning with academic instruction to create a safe and positive learning environment. She spearheaded the MySpace program, offering children a calm, nurturing environment to talk, play, or decompress. Additional initiatives she has developed or overseen include the anti-bullying literacy program, the Buddy Program, the Certificate programs, K-story time and the Unplug Program. Her most recent initiative is using art and music to express our feelings in a small group setting for our Gesher students. Yael works closely with the administration and her guidance team to ensure the highest level of professional support for students, parents, and teachers. Her role encompasses consultation, counseling, and curriculum development, all guided by her commitment to fostering emotional well-being and a supportive school community.

Yael resides in Tenafly with her husband Drew and they have three children: Talia , Ella and Aiden. In her free time she enjoys swimming, reading and drawing.
