Gabe Nadel
Edward Konigsberg Memorial Award
Gabe Nadel moved to Springfield in 2019. From the beginning of his time in the community, he became a regular attendee of Rabbi Marcus’ mussar shiur and daily minyanim. He credits Rabbi Marcus’ leadership and the inspiration of his fellow members for enhancing his commitment to minyan attendance and Avodas Hashem. Gabe is also very grateful to his wife, Yael, for making it possible to regularly attend minyanim.
A native of Southfield, Michigan, he attended Yeshiva University for college and graduated with a degree in psychology and biology in 2005. Gabe continued his graduate studies at Logan University in Saint Louis, where he earned a Doctorate of Chiropractic degree in 2010. He practiced in Seattle, WA for two years before returning to NYC where he met Yael at fellow Springfield residents’ Daniel Saleman’s shabbos table. Professionally, Gabe practices chiropractic medicine in Manhattan at Everest Chiropractic, which he opened in 2010.
Gabe and Yael are now the proud parents of three wonderful children and thankful to be raising them in the growth-oriented community of Congregation Israel of Springfield.
