During Debbie's 40 years as a member of Sisterhood, she has held most positions, including President. She became involved in WLCJ as the North Atlantic Region Conference Chair then went on to become Region Torah Fund VP then Region President. She credits the training received from WLCJ for these positions, along with Leadership Institute for giving her insight into challenges Sisterhoods and Regions can face.
Deb is a past International VP, Recording Secretary, Women’s League Israel Chair, and a member of the Torah Fund Cabinet. Currently, in addition to being a consultant, she is the Moderator of PrezNet, a listserv serving Sisterhood/Affiliate Presidents which meets monthly.
On a personal note, she and her husband have been married 45 years, having met while teenagers in BBYO. She is the mother of three adult children and Savta of six. During her “free” time she plays Mah Jongg, works out, and sews.
