Anise Parnes, 2026 Jewels in the Crown Co-Chair, is a member of Israel Center of Conservative Judaism Sisterhood in Flushing, NY, an affiliate within the Brooklyn Queens Long Island (BQLI) Region of Women’s League. Anise’s Women’s League journey began when she was asked to co-chair her Sisterhood’s annual Torah Fund Campaign. This experience led to active participation within her Region and being invited to serve on the Women’s League International Board when she was her Region’s Torah Fund Vice President.

 

Anise’s Women’s League journey has continued through to the 2023-2026 term in which she's served as a Women’s League Vice President, Consulting Services portfolio Vice Chair and Region Advisor. During the 2020-2023 term, Anise oversaw hundreds of Convention 2023 details as Vice Chair/Logistics. On the Region level, Anise is a Past President of BQLI Region in addition to having led the Region’s Torah Fund team during two consecutive terms. On the Affiliate level, Anise is a Past Sisterhood President and as well as a Past Sisterhood Co-President. Throughout this journey, Anise has been a Sisterhood Torah Fund Campaign Chair for 18 years.

 

As a long-time Women’s League Consultant, Anise has met members throughout the continent via workshops, Region meetings and International Conventions. She is excited to be with Women’s League sisters, IN PERSON, during Convention 2026.
