Carol began her volunteer life right here in South Florida, in USY and BBG.
Fast forward many, many years and that involvement in the Conservative Masorti movement has continued to this day, with the ultimate volunteer position as International President of Women’s League from 2014 through 2017.
Meeting sisterhood members was always a highlight, especially playing Jewish geography and finding connections. Representing all our sisterhood members at ordinations at both JTS and Zeigler were a highlight each year, as was representing our members in Israel at the World Zionist Congress. Carol always felt that she received so much from being involved, furthering her Jewish education, friendships and a place to grow.
Carol met her husband, Jeff at the break during Yom Kippur, during their senior year of high school. They have been married for 53 years and were blessed with three children and seven grandchildren.
