Wendy J Glasser is a Vice President on the International Women’s League Board of Directors.  She began her Women’s League Journey in 1979 when she joined the Temple Emunah Sisterhood in Lexington Mass, where she began her Jewish Education and had her Adult Bat Mitzvah in 1985.  Within weeks of joining Temple Emunah Sisterhood, she was the volunteer coordinator for the Kiddish lunch program. When she joined Olam Tikvah in 1989, it was the Sisterhood who welcomed her there.  She helped create their kiddush lunch fund-raiser and was a volunteer Mashgiach and Sisterhood President for 2 terms.  She taught Jewish Ethics in Hebrew High for 2 years, stepping away from teaching to be Sisterhood President.  She attended 3 Women’s League Biennial conventions during that time.
 
When she moved to California and joined Congregation Beth David, she already knew some of the Sisterhood members whom she met at Convention.  At Congregation Beth David she has been Sisterhood President for 1 term and Synagogue President twice. 
She has been Torah Fund VP and President of NXNW Region and currently sits on their leadership team.  
 
In addition to volunteering for WLCJ Wendy is an active volunteer in Scouting America as well as Hakone Japanese Gardens and continues to be an active volunteer at Congregation Beth David.  
 
Wendy has been married to Lance Glasser for 52 years. She married an engineer and raised three more.  So far, her 3 children have given her 5 grandchildren.
