Toby B. Holtzman is a WLCJ Vice President, Convention Programming Vice-Chair, and co-chair of the Bat Mitzvah class of 2023-2026. She is also a member of the Torah Fund Cabinet.  Previously she served as Tefillot chair for 3 Conventions and co-chaired Makom B’Yachad during its first 3 years.
 
Originally from Jamaica, New York, Toby, now residing in Rockville, MD, is an active member of Congregation Har Shalom in Potomac, Maryland where she spent many years on their Board and Executive Committee. She is a Sisterhood Past President and currently enjoys leading the Women’s Rosh Hodesh services and special programs.  She is also a Shlichat T’zibur for congregational services when asked. A member of Seaboard Region, she was Torah Fund Vice President and Membership Vice President. 
 
Blissfully retired from University Publishing, Toby loves spending time with her 2 daughters, daughter-in-love, son-in-love, the “Babes” grandtwins Charley (she) & Oliver (he) and beloved cats Zips and Vibes.
Last year, she attended her first Leadership Institute where she meet some marvelous women and at the same time acquired some useful leadership skills. Also, two years ago, she attended her first WLCJ International Convention. Besides meeting more wonderful women, she says she has gained the confidence needed to become a leader.  
 
She looks forward to seeing everyone and being one of the presenters at this year’s convention.
