Rabbi Meir Goldwicht

We are deeply honored to welcome Rabbi Meir Goldwicht, together with his Rebbetzin Hila, to our community for an unforgettable Shabbat and as the keynote speaker of our annual Gala. One of the foremost voices in Torah education today, Rabbi Goldwicht will be joining us for a special Shabbat dedicated in honor of the IDF soldiers from our Adat Yeshurun community and in celebration of Yom Yerushalayim. Throughout the weekend, there will be multiple opportunities to learn from and be inspired by Rabbi Goldwicht’s dynamic and passionate Torah.

A seventh-generation Yerushalmi, Rabbi Goldwicht is a world-renowned Torah scholar and beloved educator. He serves as a Rosh Yeshiva at Yeshiva University and holds multiple teaching positions within both the YU community and institutions in Israel. He received rabbinic ordination from some of the greatest rabbinic authorities of the generation, including Rabbi Zalman Nechemia Goldberg, Rabbi Betzalel Zolty (former Chief Rabbi of Jerusalem), and Rabbi Ovadia Yosef (former Chief Rabbi of Israel).

Rabbi Goldwicht is cherished by students and audiences worldwide for his warmth, clarity, and infectious enthusiasm. Each year, he delivers over 1,000 shiurim across the United States and Israel, reaching Jews of all ages and backgrounds. His rare gift for making profound Torah ideas accessible, relevant, and deeply moving has made him one of the most sought-after speakers in the Jewish world.

Adding a layer of personal meaning to this Shabbat and Gala is the special connection between Rabbi Goldwicht and our very own Rabbi Daniel and Rebbetzin Brooke Reich — Rabbi Goldwicht had the honor of officiating at their wedding in 2014.

We look forward to a Shabbat filled with Torah, connection, and inspiration, culminating in Rabbi Goldwicht’s keynote address at what promises to be a truly meaningful and uplifting Gala.
