Lisa Roberts has been a Westchester Jewish Council board member since
1999 and has served in various roles on the Executive Committee since 2010. She is honored to have assumed the presidency of the WJC in 2017. During her tenure, Lisa’s efforts have been focused on deepening the engagement of our diverse and dedicated board, serving the emerging needs of our member organizations, and working collaboratively with our organizational partners with the goal of making Westchester a more connected,
more engaged, and more vibrant Jewish community.

For nearly the last three decades, Lisa has worked and volunteered
extensively within the Jewish community in Westchester. Until the closing of the Rosenthal JCC of Northern Westchester in 2016, she served as its Program Director, having been a member of the professional staff since 1992. Some of her responsibilities as Program Director included: overseeing Jewish Life programming, supervising the JCC’s Yorktown branch, and working on a variety of collaborative programs with rabbis and synagogues in Northern Westchester.

Lisa was a member of the board of Temple Shaaray Tefila in Bedford Corners from 2002 - 2020, and an officer from 2005 - 2016. She completed a two-year term as synagogue President in 2016. She joined the AJC Westchester/Fairfield board in July 2013 and is proud to be a member of the Executive Committee.

Lisa and her husband, Jon - an investment adviser - have lived in Mahopac since 1985. Their children, Carly and David and their spouses, Q and Marissa, live in New York City. Carly and Q are the proud parents
of Lisa and Jon’s adorable grandson, Milo.
