5th Annual Revolving Tables
Revolving Tables is a one-of-a-kind networking event, hosted annually by the Visions Young Leadership Board of the Israel Cancer Research Fund (ICRF). The evening aims to raise awareness and funds for ICRF, while providing an evening of great food, professional growth and social exchange.

Throughout a cocktail reception and three-course meal, participants have the opportunity to meet other young professionals and engage with prominent Chicago executives, trendsetters and community leaders - we call them our "mentors". After each course, the young professionals rotate tables, offering three exclusive opportunities to interact with new mentors.

Special Guest Speaker
Yael "Yali" Derman is an inspirational woman who conquered recurrent childhood leukemia with sibling bone marrow transplantation. Yali now works as a nurse practitioner treating children and young adults diagnosed with cancer and blood disorders at Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago - the same institution where she was treated for her cancer.

A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing where she received both her Bachelors and Masters in the Science of Nursing, Yali also serves as the CEO and Founder of Yali's Carry On - a philanthropic handbag design company where her colorful designs are storybooks of life as a survivor. Proceeds support the valuable programs that Child-Life and Family services facilitate for the pediatric cancer population.

About ICRF
Israel Cancer Research Fund (ICRF) is dedicated to supporting cutting edge cancer research in Israel. ICRF has funded over $68 million in more than 2,400 grants to outstanding cancer researchers at every major institution in Israel.

ICRF-funded scientists are consistently at the forefront with discoveries that have revolutionized cancer treatment. They have developed improved chemotherapies, advanced techniques in bone marrow transplantation, and enhanced the understanding of tumor suppressor genes. It is alongside the hard work of ICRF-funded scientists that cancer drugs such as Gleevac®, Doxil®, and Velcade® were developed and are being used to treat hundreds of thousands of cancer patients worldwide. ICRF changes the lives of cancer patients, survivors and their families.
